Pre-wedding trials
Trials are the perfect opportunity for us to connect and get to know one another. We want to meet you and get to know your style. Our aim is to design a look that is perfect for you allowing you to feel beautiful and confident on your wedding day. Brides often refer to our work as ‘a more polished, glamorous version of themselves’. Making you feel amazing but still true to yourself is very important to us.
The best time to hold a trial is 1 – 2 months prior to your wedding day. Our hair and makeup trials are by appointment only and typically take 1-1.5hrs for either hair or makeup or 1.5-2hrs for both hair and makeup. We hold all our hair and makeup trials at our stylist’s addresses throughout the Hunter Region. As our weddings occur on weekends, our hair and makeup trials are strictly limited to weekdays only.
At your trial we will discuss your dream wedding day look and what you’re hoping to achieve. We’ll dive into your inspiration and offer our advice and suggestions. Once we complete your hair and makeup look we will document all products used and take some photos of you so that we have a record to replicate on your wedding day. Our goal is to have you leaving this appointment feeling beautiful and confident.

We believe the quality of service you receive on your wedding day should not be compromised by your location. Our artists have a minimum wedding day spend of $1130 for hair and $1130 for makeup plus travel. These fees are applied to the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter Valley, Port Stephens and Central Coast regions. For Sydney, we have a minimum wedding day spend of $1790 for hair and $1790 for makeup plus travel.
Additional charges will be applied for using hair extensions or padding, for very long hair or very thick hair. Please enquire for more information and prices. We do not charge to secure veils, hair combs/pins, flowers or flower crowns.
Having everyone looking prefect and fresh before your photographer arrives on the day is important to us. Inclusive in our prices are hair and makeup touch-ups for everyone prior to your photographer’s arrival. We are with you and your bridal party for quite some time on your day and want to make sure everyone is fresh and perfect right when they need to be.
